Ducted Split Systems split the cooling system in two, where the condenser can be placed in a space better suited for heat and noise dissipation and the evaporator is ducted nearby the cellar. This keeps the wine cellar quiet and vibration-free.

The Split System does NOT come with its own line set.

Described in the simplest terms, a split system is a cooling unit wherein the evaporator unit and condensing unit have been “split” into two separate units instead of being contained within the same housing. The evaporator unit is located in or near your cellar, and the condensing unit is generally located outside, or in an attic or utility room. 

24Volt

For the Split System series, a 24V option is also available which allows you to tie into your home electronic thermostat or home automation system, please inquire.  

Although the cooling units are rated for various size rooms, the thermal load may require a larger sized cooling unit.  Thermal load may be affected by glass in the cellar, room positioning or other factors.  Please let a Rosehill Wine Cellar rep make some suggestions for you if needed.

A limited 2-year product warranty with up to an additional(1) year grace period for installation is offered with all split systems. While the warranty starts at the date of purchase, this warranty is not activated until a Product Warranty Checklist has been submitted and approved by WhisperKOOl
