The Ductless Platinum Split 4000 is built for powerful, dependable cooling with minimal noise and visual impact. Its two-part configuration allows the evaporator to be discreetly installed inside the wine cellar, while the condensing unit can be placed up to 100 feet away—offering maximum flexibility for tailored installations. Favoured by contractors for its durability and reliability, this system is well-suited for both residential and commercial cellars.

Note: A qualified HVAC-R technician is required for the installation of Platinum Split 4000 systems. Failure to have the system installed by a qualified technician will void the warranty.

The Split System does NOT come with its own line set.

Described in the simplest terms, a split system is a cooling unit wherein the evaporator unit and condensing unit have been “split” into two separate units instead of being contained within the same housing. The evaporator unit is located in or near your cellar, and the condensing unit is generally located outside, or in an attic or utility room. 

If you don’t mind seeing the grille of your cooling unit in your cellar, a wall-mounted split system is what you need. If you prefer your unit to be out of sight, you should get a fully ducted split system. The choice is yours.

24Volt

For the Split System series, a 24V option is also available which allows you to tie into your home electronic thermostat or home automation system, please inquire.  

 Although the cooling units are rated for various size rooms, the thermal load may require a larger sized cooling unit.  Thermal load may be affected by glass in the cellar, room positioning or other factors.  Please let a Rosehill Wine Cellar rep make some suggestions for you if needed.
